Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Admissions Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing outpatient and ancillary admissions, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for patients requiring emergency department services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Complete admissions for patients by following established procedures, including scanning documents into the Health land System.
- Perform additional admission duties as required to support the department.
- Assist patients in navigating the hospital and provide support as needed.
- Collaborate with other emergency department staff to ensure optimal patient care and workflow.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using health information systems, particularly the Health land System.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
