Job Overview
Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in an outpatient setting in Indio, CA. This role supports a collaborative rehabilitation team focused on patient-centered functional outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide evidence‑based interventions to restore daily living skills.
- Perform therapeutic assessments of activities of daily living, upper‑extremity function, splinting, and therapeutic exercise.
- Document clinical progress and communicate with interdisciplinary team members.
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and functional goals.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active California Occupational Therapy license (required to start assignment).
- Basic Life Support certification from AHA or ARC (required or may be required).
- Experience in outpatient rehabilitation.
- Experience treating spine and sports‑related conditions (preferred).
- Competency in evaluating and treating activities of daily living, upper‑extremity interventions, splinting, and therapeutic exercise.
- Previous travel therapy experience (preferred).
- Experience with electronic medical records (preferred).
- Advanced certification in hand therapy or specialty education in spine/sports (preferred).
Shift pattern: 5×8 days.
