The Banquet Set-Up Position is a Banquet Houseperson position for our Events team. You'll be responsible for setting up and breaking down event spaces, including tables, chairs, and water stations. Strong communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage physical tasks are key to success in this role.
This hands-on position offers a dynamic workday and the opportunity to collaborate with a talented team, directly impacting the guest experience.

The hourly pay for this position is $17.00, with the opportunity to earn Service Charges. This is the pay rate Grand Hyatt Indian Wells reasonably expects to pay.

- Physical Stamina:
Capable of lifting, pulling, and pushing moderate to heavy weights as required for event setups and breakdowns. - Attention to Detail:
Able to read and interpret floor plans and event instructions, ensuring accuracy in setup and execution. - Strong Communication:
Follow verbal directions from managers and supervisors with ease and clarity, ensuring smooth event operations. - Flexible Availability:
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of event timelines.
