RESIDENTSERVICES COORDINATOR (RSC)
Reporting to the SVP of Resident Services and/or the Resident Services Program Supervisor, the RSC coordinates and oversees community development activities under the Beyond Homes key initiatives:
Adult Capacity Building, Housing Retention, Healthy Living, Green Living, Community Engagement, and light case management services at affordable housing developments in Los Angeles County. The beyond‑homes program serves seniors, TAY, families, survivors of domestic violence, formerly homeless individuals, and those with disabilities.
The RSC ensures ongoing access to resources for residents, intervenes when individuals are at risk of losing housing, and connects residents with social service agencies. The RSC promotes wellness and reduces isolation by engaging residents and the broader community, fostering stability, independence, and aging‑in‑place for seniors. At family sites the RSC oversees youth programs, including out‑of‑school programs focused on social and emotional learning (SEL).
At senior sites the RSC oversees programs designed to reduce isolation and support aging‑in‑place. RSCs working with special‑needs or formerly homeless residents collaborate with service providers to deliver best practices in permanent supportive housing. Specialized training is provided.
