The Team You’ll Join

The Activation Specialist at Rebuy plays a pivotal role in onboarding and driving enablement for small to mid-sized businesses (SMB). This role will be crucial in executing Rebuy’s vision to drive positive outcomes at scale for our SMB and Micro merchants.

The Activation Specialist will work closely with the Director of SMB on executing scalable educational programs such as webinars and "one-to-many" office hours, in addition to providing one-on-one onboarding and Rebuy implementation. The Activation Specialist focuses on improving product adoption, enhancing the onboarding process, boosting retention rates, and optimizing trial-to-paid conversions.

The Problems You’ll Solve
  • Merchant Onboarding and Enablement
    :
    Implement effective strategies and programs to facilitate the onboarding of new merchants, ensuring a smooth transition to the Rebuy platform.
  • Scalable Program Execution
    :
    Design and conduct "one to many" office hours tailored to SMB and micro-merchant segments to drive product understanding and usage.
  • Rebuy Product Expertise
    :
    Become a trusted Rebuy product expert, able to quickly recognize high-impact strategies and use cases that drive adoption and value for micro and SMB merchants.
  • 1:1 Merchant Interaction
    :
    Provide one-on-one video calls with merchants to address specific needs or concerns, fostering strong relationships and promoting customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    :
    Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships teams to execute campaigns aimed at activating high-potential stores. Ensure strategies and initiatives are aligned across functions.
  • Feedback Integration
    :
    Gather and relay merchant feedback to appropriate teams to help refine products and services.

  • Ability to Execute Scalable Programs
    :
    Develop and implement webinars and office hours that effectively address the needs of SMB and micro-merchants.
  • Ability to Engage in Direct Merchant Support
    :
    Provide targeted one-on-one support to merchants as needed, addressing specific queries or challenges.
  • Ability to Drive Key Performance Metrics
    :
    Focus on crucial metrics such as adoption, onboarding efficiency, retention, and conversion rates to gauge and enhance the effectiveness of growth initiatives.
  • Ability to Build transactional relationships
    :
    Quickly develop relationships with customers, providing them with reliable support and strategic insights to foster engagement.
  • Ability to Manage Time for Maximum Impact
    :
    You understand how to run and control a call, and know that meeting with as many merchants as possible is an easy lever to maximize impact.
Required Experience and Mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of the E-commerce Space
    : A solid grasp of Rebuy’s context and platform, understanding its capabilities and future direction.
  • Proven Track Record in a High-Growth Environment
    :
    Demonstrable success in managing projects and initiatives in fast-paced settings. Startup experience is a plus.
  • Excellent Communication Skills
    :
    Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels within the organization, fostering collaboration and teamwork. Both written and verbal.
  • Technical Proficiency
    :
    Familiarity with CRM systems and digital communication tools to manage relationships and track engagement effectively.
  • Proven experience in customer success, sales, or a similar role in a tech or SaaS environment.
