Settlement Operations Lead

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Settlement Operation Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee and manage all cash transactions (payment operations) for Reku users while ensuring operational excellence through strong leadership and continuous improvement initiatives. You will play a key role in driving system enhancements (including automation projects), and data management & reconciliation improvements to strengthen the reliability and scalability of our settlement operations.

• Lead and supervise the Settlement Operations team to ensure daily payment and cash flow activities are executed accurately in a timely manner.
• Oversee and manage all cash transactions and settlements for Reku users across multiple payment channels.
• Conduct regular data reconciliation between internal systems and external partners to ensure accuracy and transparency.
• Monitor performance, coach, and develop team members to enhance operational capability and accountability.
• Investigate and analyze the root causes of payment or settlement issues, ensuring timely resolution and preventive measures.
• Identify and drive process improvements, automation, and system optimization to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Product, Tech, Finance, and Compliance) to improve end-to-end operational workflows.
• Establish and maintain operational SOPs to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies and regulations.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Payment Operations, Settlement, or Reconciliation, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Proven experience managing a small to mid-sized team and ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Strong skills in data management, reconciliation, and process analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to initiate and implement system improvements — including automation or workflow optimization.
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency, payment gateways, or financial systems is highly preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Flexibility and willingness to work in rotating shifts (24/7) in a hybrid schedule setup.
