Job Description- Lead and manage all aspects of the Rooms department, ensuring service standards are consistently met with friendly and engaging service.
- Handle guest concerns promptly and effectively, implementing solutions to create memorable experiences.
- Participate in yield management meetings and implement revenue management strategies to maximise room revenue.
- Monitor key performance indicators for the Front Office department and take corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate Front Office documents and records in compliance with operational and organisational requirements.
- Ensure all Front Office areas adhere to cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Optimise room inventory usage through monitoring, control, and feedback to support departments.
- Organise work assignments, schedules, and vacations to ensure optimal utilisation of manpower.
- Train, guide and support the team in providing outstanding guest welcoming experiences.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest service across the hotel.
- Adapt to the local culture and customs of Jakarta to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Proven experience in a front office leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a guest‑focused approach to creating memorable experiences.
- Proficiency in Opera or related property management systems.
- In‑depth knowledge of hotel operations and revenue management practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to make quick, informed decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia or other local languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with local culture and customs in Jakarta, Indonesia.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
