F&B Reservations Ambassador
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly organized F&B Reservations Ambassador to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team. In this role, you will handle all restaurant reservations, ensuring a seamless guest experience from the moment they make a booking until their visit. You will work closely with the F&B outlets and Guest Relations teams to optimize table allocation, maximize revenue, and deliver exceptional service aligned with Sofitel brand standards.
Responsibilities- Handle all incoming reservation inquiries for F&B outlets via phone, email, messaging platforms, and online booking channels.
- Accurately record, modify, and confirm restaurant reservations in the system.
- Provide detailed information about restaurant concepts, menus, promotions, and special events to guests.
- Coordinate with outlet managers to manage table allocations and optimize seating capacity.
- Communicate guest preferences, special requests, and dietary requirements to the respective outlets.
- Ensure smooth flow of information between F&B, Front Office, and Guest Experience teams.
- Upsell special menus, events, and premium seating options to increase revenue.
- Monitor no‑show and cancellation patterns and update reports accordingly.
- Maintain updated knowledge of all current F&B promotions, operating hours, and events.
- Follow brand standards to ensure consistent and professional reservation handling.
- Assist in preparing daily reservation reports and forecasts.
- Contribute to overall guest satisfaction through exceptional hospitality and personalized service.
- Maintain accurate reservation records and ensure data integrity.
- Experience in F&B reservations, restaurant host/hostess, or front office roles preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English (additional languages an advantage).
- Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service orientation.
- Familiar with reservation systems (Seven Rooms, Open Table, Res Diary, or similar).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Knowledge of F&B operations and restaurant service standards.
- Ability to handle guest complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Well‑groomed appearance and confident interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate (email, Excel, reservation software).
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
