This is a Kitchen Steward position responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and operational readiness of kitchen facilities and equipment.

Key responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including washing area, floor, walls, drain, and equipment

Wash, clean, and store all kitchen equipment such as plates, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans, and cooking utensils

Operate dishwasher or equipment washing machines according to SOP

Ensure all washed equipment is clean, dry, and ready for use

Maintain cleanliness of garbage area and perform waste sorting and disposal according to procedures

Clean and maintain steward equipment and work area in good condition

Assist kitchen team with operational work related to cleanliness and work area readiness

Ensure availability of chemicals, cleaning supplies, and steward work equipment

Use cleaning chemicals according to dosage and work safety procedures

Perform deep cleaning of kitchen and equipment according to established schedule

About you

Maintain hygiene, sanitation, HACCP/food safety, and work safety standards

Report equipment damage, equipment shortages, or area conditions that do not meet standards to supervisor

Assist with receiving, storing, and handling kitchen equipment when required

Ensure efficient use of water, electricity, chemicals, and operational equipment
