Area Manager, Management Retail & Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to join the team at Eighty One Coffee'. As our Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of multiple Eighty One Coffee' locations. This is a full-time role that offers opportunities for career growth and development within a dynamic, customer-focused organisation.

• Provide leadership and guidance to Head Barista and outlet teams to ensure efficient, consistent, and profitable operations across assigned locations.
• Oversee daily operations of multiple outlets and ensure compliance with company SOPs, service standards, and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, enhance customer experience, and optimize operational efficiency.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze performance results, and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Manage budgets, inventory, cost control, and other financial responsibilities within the assigned area.
• Collaborate with Head Office and corporate teams on marketing and promotional initiatives.
• Identify operational issues and provide timely, effective solutions.
• Develop outlet teams through coaching, mentoring, training, and performance evaluation.
• Prepare regular operational and performance reports for management.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in multi-unit retail or food service management (F&B / Coffee Shop preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and inventory management.
• Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Solid understanding of retail and food service industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Able to work independently with high mobility and also collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Professional, firm, and able to act as a role model for store teams.
