Head of Business Development - Medical Devices
Client Details: Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Company
Main ResponsibilitiesStrategic Business Expansion: Identify emerging markets, industry trends, and new growth opportunities, and formulate strategies to increase market share and revenue.
Partnership & Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, principals, and key stakeholders; lead contract negotiations and strategic collaborations.
Team Leadership & Target Achievement: Direct, coach, and inspire the sales team to consistently achieve or exceed monthly and annual performance targets.
Financial & Operational Management: Oversee budgeting, revenue forecasting, and operational efficiency to ensure sustainable business performance.
Business Proposal & Presentation: Develop comprehensive business proposals and deliver presentations to senior management and stakeholders for new initiatives.
Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or any Medical studies
At least 10 years of relevant professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
Proven experience managing relationships with principals, including compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
Strong sales and commercial acumen, with demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, negotiating contracts, and managing territories.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strategic partnerships and manage conflict effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including competitor analysis and revenue optimization.
Effective organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience in healthcare or medical-related industries is highly preferred.
