Lead Graphic & Content Designer (Graphic + Video)

About Us
Alankaram is a premium furniture brand rooted in Indian tradition and architectural sensibility. We design and craft solid-wood furniture for discerning residential, commercial, and hospitality clients across India and overseas. As we scale our design and marketing footprint, we’re seeking a hands-on creative who can lead design, videography, and social content from our Pithampur facility.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Design & Publications: Design product brochures, lookbooks, catalogues, spec sheets, and manuals (Adobe InDesign-first); ensure pixel-perfect print-ready files.
Digital & Social Creatives: Produce static and motion assets for website, Instagram, Linked In, You Tube, emailers, ads, exhibitions, and presentations.
Videography (Planning → Shoot → Edit):
Plan shot lists/storyboards for product launches, behind-the-scenes, factory/process videos, client/project stories.
Capture footage (camera/gimbal, lights, audio), direct short interviews, and manage on-site shoots.
Edit videos (reels, shorts, 15–60s ads, and 1–3 min brand films) with clean cuts, sound design, and tasteful transitions.
Motion Graphics & Reels: Create brand-consistent openers, supers, lower-thirds, captions, and product highlights for reels/shorts.
Content Calendar & Publishing: Co-own a monthly content calendar; schedule posts, coordinate approvals, and ensure on-time publishing.
Performance Alignment: Collaborate with marketing to align creatives with campaign goals (reach, engagement, leads); iterate based on basic analytics.
Cross-team
Collaboration:
Work closely with product, photography, and sales teams to ensure consistent brand communication across touchpoints.
On-ground Brand Collateral: Packaging, invites, signage, event/expo creatives, in-store branding materials.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
Design: Adobe InDesign (advanced), Illustrator, Photoshop; strong layout/typography and premium brand aesthetics.
Video: Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci Resolve;
After Effects (or equivalent) for titles, transitions, simple animations.
Shooting Basics: Camera operations, gimbal use, lighting and audio fundamentals for product/interview setups.
Social-First Mindset: Understanding of Instagram/Linked In/You Tube best practices (hooks, pacing, aspect ratios, subtitles, thumbnails).
Experience:
Minimum 4–6 years in design/content; portfolio demonstrating publication design + social/video work (product or design-led brands preferred).
Strong project ownership, detail orientation, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Bonus Skills (Preferred, not mandatory)
Experience in furniture/interiors, architecture, or luxury/lifestyle brands.
Product styling and basic photography skills;
Lightroom workflow.
Familiarity with Canva, AI and basic 3D/CGI exposure is a plus.
