About the Role
We're looking for a creative and energetic Video Editor Intern who can take raw clips, footage, and rough ideas and turn them into compelling stories. If you have a natural instinct for storytelling and love the challenge of finding the narrative in a pile of unedited content, this role is for you.
You'll work closely with Filmmaker interns and the Creative team, taking concepts and raw material and shaping them into videos that flow, feel, and land with an audience. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to grow their editing craft while experimenting with AI-powered creative tools.
What You'll Do
Convert raw clips, footage, and rough concepts into structured, story-driven videos
Bring creativity and energy to every edit — finding the narrative thread in unpolished material
Work with visuals, music, voice, and sound effects to build engaging final outputs
Collaborate with Filmmaker interns to translate ideas and storyboards into finished videos
Experiment with pacing, transitions, and creative formats to make content stand out
Add captions, text, motion elements, and other post-production touches
Create edits suited for different platforms (Instagram, You Tube, Linked In, etc.)
Take feedback well and iterate quickly in a fast-paced creative environment

Ability to convert rough, unstructured content into a clear, engaging narrative
Willingness to learn, experiment, and take creative risks
Comfort working in a fast, iterative, collaborative environment
Openness to feedback and continuous improvement
Technical Skills Required
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software
Basic understanding of motion graphics, text animation, subtitles, and audio balancing
Experience (academic, personal projects, or professional) editing short-form content, brand videos, reels, or digital campaigns
Good taste in music, visual rhythm, and narrative structure
Ability to work across multiple styles — cinematic, social-first, promotional, experimental
