Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented  Area Head / Sr. Area Head  to lead and drive the performance of our  Direct Channel  sales team. The incumbent will be responsible for managing a team of Front Line Sales (FLS) representatives, ensuring achievement of business targets, and driving customer acquisition for life insurance products.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership position that directly contributes to the organization's growth and long-term success.

Role And Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Front Line Sales (FLS) representatives to achieve assigned sales and business targets.
Develop and execute effective sales strategies and action plans to expand customer reach and improve productivity.
Ensure the team has the required training, tools, and motivation to deliver consistent performance.
Monitor sales metrics, track daily performance, and take corrective actions where required.
Drive quality business by ensuring compliance, persistency, and customer satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance engagement and retention.
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory updates impacting life insurance sales.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Training, and Operations) to support business objectives.
Identify, develop, and groom high-performing talent within the team to strengthen the leadership pipeline.

Candidate Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum 4–6 years of experience in life insurance sales, with at least 2 years in a team leadership role (handling FLS or similar profiles).
Proven Track Record:
Consistent achievement of sales targets in Direct Channel or equivalent distribution setup.

Skills:

Strong leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Business Acumen:
Excellent understanding of life insurance products, market dynamics, and customer needs.
Analytical Ability:
Capability to interpret data and implement insights to improve sales outcomes.

Education:

Graduate or Post Graduate
