Capital Project Manager

Chemours is seeking a Capital Project Manager to join the Enterprise Capital Center of Excellence at the Corpus Christi site in Ingleside, TX, reporting to the Southwest Regional Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Translate business objectives into capital project objectives.
  • Accountable for project success including cost and investment, ensuring alternatives have been evaluated.
  • Apply project management knowledge and basic understanding of capital engineering disciplines.
  • Set overall project team direction and expectations.
  • Acquire and release project resources as needed.
  • Develop and maintain project estimates and schedules.
  • Manage overall project expenditures and schedule to meet business expectations.
  • Serve as primary interface between project team and business unit steering team.
  • Drive capital project work processes and practices per company procedures.
  • Lead gatekeeping reviews and ensure front‑end deliverables are met, including preparing funding documents.
  • Ensure commissioning and turnover plans and O&M procedures are prepared.
  • Collaborate with construction leaders to address design issues that impede performance.
Required Qualifications
  • BS degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
  • 7+ years of engineering project management experience.
  • Self‑managing, proactive.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP Certification.
  • Texas PE License.
  • Experience in a manufacturing facility in an industrial setting.
  • Experience in the chemical or petro‑chemicals industry.
  • Experience working in a Phase‑Gate Project Process.

Pay Range: $ – $ (local currency).

Annual bonus target: 8%.
