Job Summary
The Hydro Traceability Technician is responsible for maintaining hydro books, preparing and organizing drawings, and assembling traceability documentation packages. This role supports construction activities by interpreting drawings, scanning, filing, and compiling records in accordance with project specifications and customer requirements.
Job Description
- Maintain Hydro Books (pre-request and post-request)
- Interpret drawings and weld mapping along with daily logging
- Enter and organize ISOs/erection drawings in test packages
- Assemble, scan, file, and compile final traceability documentation packages
- Support construction activities with working knowledge of hydrostatic testing
- 2+ years in a relevant industry-specific background
- Technical knowledge:
Understanding of drawings, weld maps, NDE, traceability processes - Computer/software skills:
Excel, Access, Word, Bluebeam, Share Point - Soft skills:
Attention to detail, organization, communication, problem-solving, time management
- High School Degree or GED
- Associate's or Bachelor's preferred
- Physical requirements:
Lifting, standing/walking, climbing, vision requirements; ability to work weekends/holidays/night shifts
