In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and an agile, reliable, innovative culture, you will play an important part in daily site operations.

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, control rooms, and other sensitive locations.
• Screen visitors, vendors, deliveries, and/or vehicles in accordance with post orders, including maintaining accurate logs, issuing passes, and communicating access‑related information to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to supervisors and/or designated personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, gates, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.

• A minimum of 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• A TSA‑issued TWIC is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
