Gulf Island is seeking Offshore Blaster/Painters to join their team in Ingleside, Texas. These professionals will perform painting and sandblasting duties on offshore structures in the Gulf of America. The ideal candidates are experienced with industrial coatings, safety-focused, and able to work in challenging outdoor environments. • 2+ years experience in offshore blasting/painting
• Ability to use pressurized paint pots, blast pots, sandblasting hoses and nozzles
• Ability to read wet and dry mill paint gauges
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
• Must pass a background check
• Valid TWIC card
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally 50-75 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
