We’re seeking an Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent to join our Greater Los Angeles construction team. This role supports the Field and Project Management team in managing all aspects of field operations for large-scale multifamily projects, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily jobsite operations for assigned trades and project areas
- Coordinate subcontractor work across trades such as framing, roofing, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, masonry, earthwork, painting, and landscaping
- Maintain project schedule, prepare 2- and 4-week lookahead plans, and track progress
- Conduct inspections, prepare punch lists, and ensure quality completion before sign-off
- Enforce company safety policies and lead safety walks with inspectors
- Schedule and manage deliveries, dumpster hauling, and temporary facilities
- Facilitate city and third-party inspections, including ADA/FHA compliance reviews
- Assist in resolving subcontractor issues and maintaining accurate project documentation
- High school diploma required;
Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field preferred - 5+ years of construction experience, including 3+ years in multifamily projects
- Strong knowledge of multifamily construction procedures, quality control, and scheduling practices
- Proficient in Procore and Microsoft Office Suite
- Skilled in managing multiple trades, subcontractors, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
