National Client Manager – Property Condition Assessments

Position Overview

EFI Global seeks a full‑time National Client Manager to oversee Property Condition Assessments and Construction Monitoring services. The role will be based in either the Greater Los Angeles, CA or Northern New Jersey market. Responsibilities include project management for commercial real estate assessments, client relationship management, and coordination with inspectors, contractors, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare written reports with executive summaries and narrative analysis of building systems and components.
  • Perform site reconnaissance inspections to identify physical deficiencies and deferred maintenance opportunities.
  • Conduct peer reviews of PCA reports ensuring ASTM standards and client scopes are met.
  • Manage project budgets, contracts, schedules, and client communications throughout assessment lifecycle.
  • Contact municipal regulatory agencies to verify building, fire, zoning, and health code compliance.
  • Analyze repair recommendations using construction cost estimating principles.
  • Lead peer training and mentoring of staff on PCA completion.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or construction science (preferred).
  • Eight (8) years of related experience or equivalent education/experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general PC skills.
  • Knowledge of ASTM standards for property condition assessments and seismic risk assessments.
  • Understanding of building codes, construction, design (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life safety, structural).
  • Experience with cost estimation techniques and project management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing multi‑family, office, retail, and industrial property assessments.
  • Background in construction planning, cost review, and loan monitoring.
