School Counselor

This opportunity seeks a dedicated professional to provide counseling services within a K-12 school setting located in Inglewood, CA. The role is offered on a contract basis for the entire school year (NSY), requiring expertise in addressing students' emotional, social, and behavioral needs.

• Professional background as a School Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Social Worker with experience in educational environments
• Demonstrated ability to support K-12 students in diverse school communities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff
• Knowledge of counseling techniques and resources appropriate for school settings
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards in student support

• Provide individual and group counseling to students to promote mental health and academic success
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive school climate
• Facilitate crisis intervention and refer students to outside resources when necessary
• Maintain accurate records and compliance with school policies and state regulations
