ScopeThe Electrical Engineer is responsible for understanding requirements and following military specifications for the design and development of Marvin Land Systems products. The role requires a self‑motivated, hands‑on individual who can design cost‑effective electrical assemblies, including cable harnesses, control boxes, and PCB layouts. The engineer collaborates with other departments to ensure all development and testing activities are completed on schedule and within budget, supporting day‑to‑day engineering of projects and programs and ensuring effective contract execution and profitability.
Responsibilities- Design and test AC and DC circuits, performing detailed calculations and/or circuit analysis to support performance requirements and manufacturing costs.
- Use schematic capture and PCB design applications.
- Create test plans and test bench designs to support product acceptance testing.
- Work closely with technicians and assemblers.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 10–15 years of product‑development experience under military specifications.
- Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Attention to detail, decision‑making ability, and enforcement of company policies and procedures.
- Clear and concise communication of technical knowledge.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including interactions with all levels of management and customers.
- Competency in company procedures and processes as identified in the training matrix.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
$130,000 – $170,000 (based on skills, education, and experience).
