Tandem Care is hiring caregivers for our Targeted Care team — a different kind of caregiving role. Think of it like working in assisted living, but instead of being stuck in one facility, you're out in the community, supporting clients in their homes. You'll work as part of a small, collaborative team, seeing several clients each day in shorter visits.

This role is perfect for caregivers who like variety, stay positive on the go, and don t mind a schedule that changes day to day. If you re reliable, adaptable, and want steady hours with real support behind you, this is the caregiving career built for you.

• $20–$22/hr starting pay
• Guaranteed hours after 60 day probation period
• Raises every 6 months + retention bonuses
• Full benefits: PTO, sick time, 401(k) with match, 75% company-paid medical, dental, vision
• No weekends, no late nights

• Weekday shifts only, 8 AM–8 PM availability gets the most hours
• See 4–6 clients/day, with visits lasting 45 mins–3 hrs
• Provide personal care, companionship, household help, and transportation
• Team-based support, steady communication, no waiting for your next assignment

• Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in California
• Must be registered with the state, have passed your Live Scan background check, and be listed as active
• Check your status here:
• Consistent availability Monday-Friday (more availability = more hours)
• iPhone or Android smartphone (work apps are required)
• Active driver s license, auto insurance with yourself listed as the driver and your own car to transport clients in
• Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task (quick, reliable responses are expected)
• Proven reliability—if your last employer would say you called out often, this role isn t the right fit
