The Marvin Group, a leading defense contractor, plays a crucial role in the development and manufacturing of various systems for military aerospace and vehicles. Based in Southern California near the Los Angeles International Airport, The Marvin Group consists of Marvin Engineering (MEC), Marvin Test Solutions (MTS) and Marvin Land Systems (MLS). Marvin Engineering designs and produces military Alternate Mission Equipment. Marvin Test Solutions designs and manufactures armament Test Equipment.

Marvin Land Systems specializes in the design and build of power and thermal management systems. Our collaboration extends across a diverse array of programs and platforms, including major military prime contractors such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Raytheon.

The BA will report directly to the IT Application Manager andis responsible for providing Super User and end-user support related to operational issues, configuration & enhancementeffortsand key projects. The BA will provide best practice solutions to the business and training in SAP and should have solid knowledge and experience in business processes, problem solving skills and process improvements.

The BA will provide customer service, supportissuesand ticket requests within SAP in one or more of the following functional areas:

Contracts & BD

Program Management

Operations (back up for primary analyst)

Depot

Finance

The BA should be an expert in one or more of the following business processes:

Order to cash process (SAP SD Module: contract, delivery, billing)

Production planning process (SAP PP module)

Depot process (SAP MRO process)

Finance and Controlling processes (SAP module: FI/CO)

The BAis responsible for working with the organization to helpidentifyareas of improvement and to make improvements to SAP according to business requirements to increase process efficiencies

The BA willbe required to interact with all levels of the company to ensure the SAP system meets the needs of the organization

The BA will meet regularly with internal customers to document issues, new requirements and effectively respond customer needs

BA/BS degree in related field.

Applicants with3+ years of professional work experience or currently working on BA/BS will be considered

Solid knowledge of business processes within his/her current area of responsibility (preferably in SD, PP FI/COmodulesor MRO process).

Minimum of3-5+ years of professional work experience in manufacturing environment.

Proven effectiveness in business process documentation, process improvements, and problem solving.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills.

Strong customer service skills and strong customer focus.

Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle.

Familiarity with Lean principles and the application of “Lean” in a manufacturing environment.
