Code 4 Private Security is seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused Armed Security Officer to provide security services at a hotel property in Inglewood, California. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and welcoming environment for hotel guests, employees, and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service and enforcing property policies.
Schedule- Shift: Morning
- Days: Sunday & Monday
- Additional shifts may become available based on performance and business needs.
- Patrol the hotel property, parking areas, and common spaces.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and guest activity.
- Provide a visible security presence to deter criminal activity.
- Respond promptly to disturbances, alarms, emergencies, and guest concerns.
- Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports.
- Control access to restricted areas.
- Coordinate with hotel management and local law enforcement when necessary.
- Enforce hotel policies while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service.
- Observe and report suspicious activity and safety hazards.
- Valid California BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit (Required)
- Valid California Driver's License or State
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of armed security experience preferred
- Hotel, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Excellent conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong observational skills
- Experience writing detailed incident reports
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Climb stairs as needed
- Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
