Job Description

Domino's is looking for qualified delivery drivers to staff stores in your area. We offer growth opportunities, whether you are looking for a hobby, main job, or supplemental work.

You must be 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards, and you must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery. You should possess customer service skills, navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and the ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.

Drivers may also assist with inside tasks such as food preparation and cleaning (see General Job Duties for All Team Members).

Must be licensed in the US for at least the last 2 years and able to prove driving history. You must be an insured driver on the vehicle’s insurance policy. Vehicle must be registered.

$16.78 per hour, plus tips and mileage

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler. Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility daily.

Orientation and on-the-job training provided.

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

• Perform basic arithmetic; may use a calculator.
• Make correct monetary change.
• Verbal and written communication to process orders.
• Eye–hand coordination for precise movements with speed.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area; navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outdoor tasks. In-store temperatures range from 36 to 90+ degrees. May involve sudden temperature changes, fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces up to 500 degrees or higher, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions.

• Standing:
  Most tasks are performed standing.
• Walking:
  Short distances for short durations; surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum; work surfaces between 36" and 48" tall.
• Sitting:
  Paperwork at a desk or table.
• Lifting:
  Deliveries may include items up to 50 pounds; cases lifted from floor to shelves up to 72".
• Carrying:
  Handling cans and ingredients; occasional heavy items up to ~30 pounds; dough trays and other materials.
• Pushing/Pulling:
  Move trays and dollies; occasional pulling.
• Climbing:
  Navigate stairs or ladders for price changes or maintenance.
