About Our ClientAddison Group is hiring a Dispatcher for one of our clients, a rapidly growing company that supports large-scale food production and delivery operations. This organization works in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment and is expanding its team to meet increasing demand.
Job DescriptionThe Dispatcher plays a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly by coordinating deliveries, tracking flight schedules, and serving as a central communication point between drivers, operations teams, and external partners. This is a high-energy, onsite position that requires strong organization, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor flight schedules and delivery timelines using internal and external systems
- Dispatch drivers and adjust routes based on real-time changes
- Communicate updates to drivers, operations, and production teams
- Serve as the main contact for drivers during shifts
- Track deliveries, resolve issues, and escalate concerns when needed
- Prepare and organize delivery paperwork, logs, and reports
- Support shift handoffs and ongoing operational needs
- Follow all safety, food handling, and compliance procedures
- Flexible availability to work any shift, any day of the week
- Experience in customer service or operations support
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel (skills will be tested)
- Comfortable handling pressure and frequent changes
- Onsite role in Inglewood, CA
- Not a Monday–Friday position
- 40+ hours per week with overtime as needed
