Job Summary
We’re looking for a responsible and skilled Ready-Mix Driver to join our team. The Ready-Mix Truck Driver’s primary responsibility is to safely operate the concrete mixer and deliver loads to commercial and residential work sites. This role requires navigating various conditions, including uneven terrain, and may involve handling and attaching extension chutes weighing thirty to fifty pounds.
Responsibilities- Adhere to all regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of concrete loads to job sites.
- Adapt discharge methods to various site settings and conditions.
- Attach and manage extension chutes as necessary for precise concrete pouring.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical soundness of the ready‑mix truck.
- Provide outstanding customer service, maintaining a professional image for the company.
- Work closely with dispatch and other team members for efficient operations.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or
B). High School diploma preferred. - Driver must qualify as not prohibited in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Acceptable CSA and MVR record; no DUI/DWI in the last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to the construction and transportation industry.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
- Knowledge of traffic routes and basic maintenance skills for truck upkeep (desirable).
- Wear protective equipment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Work in diverse environments, including outdoor industrial operations.
- Frequent walking, sitting, lifting (up to 50 pounds), pushing, pulling, and climbing as part of the daily routine.

CompensationBase pay ranges from $28.01 to $36.79 per hour, based on market location, job-related knowledge, skill set, experience, and education.
