The Forklift Operator position is responsible to ensure material and products will be safely transported to achieve maximum efficiency. Duties:
- Locate and move products and material for storage or shipment
- Transport raw materials to production work stations
- Inspect forklift recurrently to ensure proper operation
- Follow all company rules and policies
- Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
- Follow all safety rules and quality standards
- Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Provide manufacturing support as required
- Must use Personal Protective Equipment required for Forklift Operators
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently
- Willing to work in excess of 40 hours a week
1 year forklift operation experience preferred
Physical Requirements- Constant sitting
- Occasional standing
