Growth Works is seeking a full-time Case Manager to join our Supervised Visitation team. As a Case Manager you will support survivors of domestic violence by supervising visitation sessions, providing resources and education. Core days and hours of work are Mon-Friday 4 evenings till 8:30 p.m

Role and responsibilities:
  • Observe and monitor supervised parenting sessions
  • Observe and monitor supervised exchanges
  • Facilitate Familiarization Visits, Orientations and Intakes with parents and children.
  • Facilitate positive interactions between parents and their children in a safe, supervised setting that respects the rights and responsibilities of all parties.
  • Utilizes the Guiding Principles to facilitate safe visits.
  • Basic Data collection and entry including compliance with funders.
  • Adherence to both State and Federal grant policies and procedures
  • Conduct pre and post surveys
  • Case management services provided, referrals to necessary services, scheduling etc.
  • Adherence to all agency policies and procedures.
  • Determines proper documentation of the case files
  • Attend Monthly & weekly Staff Meetings and supervision.
  • Attend training and professional development as required
  • Attend JFF/FASE related interagency collaboration meetings
  • Regular review of Policy and Procedure Manuals
Desired Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology or related field

Experience with parenting and supervisory programs

Experience with domestic violence

Sound judgment in stressful situations

Able to implement crisis intervention techniques as necessary

Ability to work effectively with a diverse population

Satisfactory background check, including three supervisory references, Criminal Record, Abuse/Neglect Clearance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to complete manual tasks involving dexterity to enter and retrieve data using computer systems, systems applications, and other office equipment. Ability to walk, stand, sit for short or long periods of time in an office setting.
  • In certain situations, may be required to work within changing physical environments due to support of child/family’s needs.
