Freelance Social Media Creator - Sports​/Gaming

We’re looking for Canada's next great sports creator to help launch a major brand coming to Alberta, who lives and breathes sports + pop culture culture and knows how to create content that performs across Tik Tok, Instagram, and X.

This is a contract-based opportunity for a highly creative, self-driven social media creator who can independently ideate, produce, and publish engaging short-form content while collaborating closely with our team on campaigns, social media trends, and creative direction.

• Create engaging sports content across Tik Tok, Instagram, and X while incorporating creative direction and feedback.
• Film, shoot, and edit high-quality short-form videos using Premiere Pro, Cap Cut, or similar editing tools.
• Format, tag, schedule, and publish content across platforms while maintaining a consistent posting cadence.
• Contribute fresh ideas, creative problem-solving, and strategic thinking during brainstorms and project kickoffs.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, tone, and values while standing out in a competitive digital landscape.

• Must be based in Alberta, Canada.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience creating social content in a fast‑paced agency, media, sports, or brand environment.
• Deep passion and knowledge of sports culture, trends, storylines, and fan communities.
• Strong portfolio showcasing video production, editing, storytelling, and social‑first content creation.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and creating authentic, relatable content.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated, and accountable with the ability to work independently in a remote freelance environment.
• Strong understanding of platform algorithms, posting mechanics, and content formats that drive engagement.
