Position: Contract Compliance Specialist
Drive compliance and reporting excellence with the Gwich’in Tribal Council as a Contract Compliance and Reporting Specialist in Inuvik. You'll manage tracking systems, monitor deadlines, and ensure agreement obligations are met.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this full-time role requires a strategic approach to administer contribution and funding agreements effectively. You'll be responsible for reviewing agreements for compliance, coordinating documentation, and collaborating with teams to uphold financial stewardship and organizational accountability. This position demands a focus on precision and effective communication to maintain audit readiness and manage records efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain centralized tracking systems for agreements

• Review financial terms and compliance requirements of agreements

• Monitor agreement deadlines and follow up proactively

• Coordinate amendments, extensions, and budget reallocations

• Maintain organized agreement files for audits and inquiries

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field

• Three to five years in financial or agreement administration

• Strong analytical skills with compliance documentation

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and document management systems
