Director of Finance – Indigenous Empowerment

Join the Inuvialuit Regional Corporation in Inuvik as their next Director of Finance, leading financial operations and nurturing a talented team. This role combines critical finance expertise with community impact.

As the Director of Finance, report to the CFO while managing financial operations for a network of subsidiary organizations. You will be responsible for team leadership and providing mentorship to around 30 professionals, including Inuvialuit Beneficiaries. Your experience will be crucial in ensuring effective financial management and supporting community-led initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial reporting and management activities

• Supervise cash flow across multiple subsidiaries

• Prioritize skills development and mentorship within the team

• Conduct timely financial planning and analysis

• Enhance internal control systems for improved performance

Requirements:

• At least five years of experience in financial management

• Must hold a Chartered Professional Accountant designation

• MBA in Business Administration is preferred

• Expertise in risk management and financial accounting

• Excellent prioritization and communication skills
