Inuvialuit Land Administration Manager

Lead the Inuvialuit Land Administration operations as a full-time Manager in Inuvik, NT. Oversee land management, community engagement, and compliance while supporting the Director of ILA.

The ILA Manager at Inuvialuit Regional Corporation ensures effective oversight of land use applications within the Inuvialuit Settlement Region. This role requires expertise in land management, environmental stewardship, and natural resource management, combined with staff coordination and operational reporting. You will collaborate on strategic initiatives, handle complex files, and strengthen stakeholder relations aligned with Inuvialuit values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of Inuvialuit Land Administration

• Oversee land use applications and permitting processes

• Ensure compliance with Inuvialuit Final Agreement and IRC policies

• Engage with communities and coordinate ILA staff

• Support the Director on strategic and complex issues

Requirements:

• Experience in land management or related field

• Supervisory experience in team operations

• Education in land management is preferred

• Familiarity with Indigenous governance is an asset

• Ability to work in northern and cross-cultural settings
