Position: Diesel Mechanic for Energy Services
Join NTPC as a Diesel Mechanic in Inuvik, specializing in natural gas and diesel generator maintenance. This role emphasizes safety, efficient operations, and equipment care.

You will work within a committed team, maintaining and overhauling large generator sets as well as auxiliary equipment. In this position, you will adhere to the corporation's health and safety protocols while enhancing the overall performance of mechanical systems. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting and providing guidance to operational staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular maintenance on engines and generators

• Ensure timely execution of scheduled overhauls

• Travel to remote locations for preventative maintenance

• Communicate safety protocols to team members

• Provide assessment and troubleshooting support

Requirements:

• Certification as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

• Minimum of five years of relevant experience

• NWT Class 5 driver's license required

• Proficient in reading mechanical diagrams

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
