Senior Bookkeeper

Location: Inver Grove Heights, MN (Fully Onsite)

Compensation: $70,000-$85,000

We are a small but established manufacturing company (~$10M in revenue) seeking a Lead Bookkeeper to serve as our sole accounting professional
. This is a hands‑on role where you will own the full accounting function and wear multiple hats day‑to‑day.

• Full‑cycle accounting oversight (AP, AR, GL, reconciliations)
• Month‑end and year‑end close
• Payroll processing for ~20 employees (ADP)
• Financial reporting and analysis for ownership
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision‑making
• Maintain and improve accounting processes and controls
• Work cross‑functionally with operations in a manufacturing environment
• Handle both strategic (controller‑level) and transactional (day‑to‑day bookkeeping) responsibilities

• Experience as a sole accountant or in a small company environment
• Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats and handling both high‑and‑low‑level work
• Experience in manufacturing accounting is a plus
• Familiarity with Sage 50 or similar accounting systems
• Stable work history and ability to take ownership
