Role Description

The Universal Banker role is a full-time, on-site position located in Inver Grove Heights, MN. This role involves assisting customers with deposits, withdrawals, and other routine transactions while ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to bank policies. The position includes responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and referring customers to specialized team members when appropriate. The Universal Banker will also support branch operations, maintain a professional and welcoming environment, and participate in community and customer outreach activities.

Qualifications
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to build positive, professional relationships with diverse customers.
  • Experience with deposits and cash handling, including balancing a cash drawer and following security procedures is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to clarity, empathy, and confidentiality.
  • Basic math and computer skills, including proficiency with banking software and standard office applications.
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail in all financial transactions and documentation.
  • Ability to work on-site in a team-oriented branch environment and adapt to changing customer needs.
  • Prior banking or financial services experience is a plus however a high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or certifications in finance or business are beneficial.
