Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location;
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document relevant details according to site protocols;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, access points, and perimeter locations, noting conditions that may need attention;
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized presence in restricted areas;
Communicate with site contacts, visitors, and/or emergency personnel regarding security-related concerns, alarms, hazards, and post instructions
