Dispatcher Job Summary

The Dispatcher supports daily service operations by coordinating technician workflow, transporting parts and personnel, moving vehicles between buildings, and assisting advisors, cashiers, and managers with operational tasks.

$50,000 - $72,000 annually

• Transport parts to Honda South and IGSC for technician use.
• Pick up and transport technicians between dealership buildings as needed.
• Deliver vehicles to technicians at various locations throughout the dealership.
• Respond to cashier requests by retrieving and staging customer vehicles for pickup.
• Prepare rental vehicles for customer use, including cleaning, fueling, and staging.
• Remove trash from Honda South daily using a side‑by‑side utility vehicle.
• Assist service advisors, cashiers, and dispatchers with operational and administrative tasks.
• Provide general assistance and support to customers as needed.
• Open and operate car wash facilities when required.
• Pick up parts from external vendors and local businesses.
• Test‑drive vehicles on behalf of technicians when requested.
• Support managers with assigned tasks and responsibilities.
• Dispatch Saturday shop work assignments to technicians on a monthly basis.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Consistently follow all safety guidelines and dealership procedures.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to drive in various traffic and weather conditions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to accurately complete documentation and relay information to technicians.
• Able to walk, stand, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be willing to work Saturdays as required.
• Punctual, reliable, and team‑oriented.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior automotive, dealership, or dispatch experience preferred.
• Good driving record required.

• May be exposed to noise, dust, and weather elements.
• Fast paced, team oriented environment.
• Exposure to vehicle exhaust, fumes, and cleaning chemicals.
• Frequent movement between multiple dealership buildings.

• May require prolonged periods sitting in or driving various vehicles.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly (parts, equipment, trash containers).
• Must be able to bend, squat, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform moderate lifting.
• Frequent walking, standing, and driving.
• Repetitive bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
