Job Summary and Qualifications MRI Technologist Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Florida-licensed MRI Technologist to provide magnetic resonance imaging services to patients performing procedures in a compassionate and respectful manner. If you are dedicated to caring for others, this could be your next career opportunity.  As an MRI Technologist under the direction of a radiologist, duties may include but not be limited to:  Demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of all MRI and associated equipment and obtain high-quality MR images assuring only optimal films are submitted for interpretation  Facilitate MRI procedures by selecting proper technical factors/techniques to accommodate all patients and select, prepare and administer the appropriate contrast material  Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated  Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time  Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues to include the radiologist  Check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with necessary supplies  Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care Qualifications  Graduate of a 2-year AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology  1-3 years previous experience as a MRI Technologist  Clear/active State of Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)  Valid ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR)  Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification  Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, computer, clerical skills Benefits HCA Florida Citrus Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
