This position is for energetic team builders. The Assistant Manager will assist the General Manager in coordinating and taking ownership of tasks and assignments given to the team. Responsibilities include day‑to‑day operations, cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. The assistant will help develop additional managers by setting an example and mentoring team members. Active daily encouragement of current team members and recruitment of new people is expected.

Additional responsibilities: staffing, paperwork, food management, time management, professional appearance, promotion of 100% Domino’s image standards, providing excellent customer service and effective service recovery, attendance and punctuality, dependable transportation, store cleanliness, and marketing.

General job duties for all store team members include:

• Knowledge of all operational tasks and ability to train those tasks
• Operate all equipment
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler
• Prepare product correctly at an advanced pace
• Receive and process telephone orders
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
• Clean store and equipment daily
• Comprehend and give correct written instructions
• Communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person

Essential functions/skills include:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used)
• Make correct monetary change
• Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, accurate movements
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen

Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station; workers cannot flex knees while standing here. Duration per session is approximately 30-45 seconds, repeated continuously. Forward bending also occurs at the front counter and during stocking. Crouching/squatting occurs occasionally. Reaching is continuous; workers reach above 72 inches to operate oven controls, change prices on signs, lift objects to and from shelves, scoop cornmeal from barrels, wash dishes, and obtain topping ingredients.

Eye-hand coordination and hand usage are continuous, including frequent pinching and use of a pizza peel, rolling cutter, cardboard pizza boxes, and other tools.

Deliver product by car to customer doors. Deliver flyers and door hangers.

• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record meeting company standards
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery

• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within designated delivery area
• Navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product

Delivery personnel may be exposed to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions while delivering product, driving, and marketing.

Far vision and night vision are required for driving.
