Installation Technician, Field/Service Technician
Advanced Network Services of Florida, headquartered in Inverness, FL, specializes in network infrastructure and low voltage cabling. We provide solutions for commercial, industrial, and retail clients across Florida and are expanding our field team.
Advanced Network Services of Florida is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician to install and service structured cabling, fiber optics, and related systems with a focus on quality and safety.
Job Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:- Install and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, coax, and fiber optic cabling.
- Perform cable testing, labeling, and certification.
- Troubleshoot and maintain low voltage systems for voice, data, AV, and security.
- Follow safety standards and building codes.
- Travel to job sites; overnight stays may be required.
- 1+ year of low voltage or structured cabling experience (preferred).
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Valid driver’s license and clean background check.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with fiber splicing, racks, and patch panels.
- OSHA 10 certification preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on experience)
