Data Management Officer

Flexible; remote or office based

Hours:

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm

Contract:

Temporary, until 31 March 2026
Pay:
Between £17 - £18.30 depending on experience

We’re looking for a Data Management Officer to join a busy environmental funding team. You’ll play a key role in collating, cleaning and analysing data from a wide range of conservation and nature restoration projects, helping track achievements and inform future funding decisions.

What you’ll be doing :

* Reviewing project reports to extract and collate key data and outputs

* Updating systems to ensure accurate information capture

* Collating outputs for land and marine projects, including jobs supported, restoration areas, and expenditure

* Ensuring data quality and resolving discrepancies by liaising with project officers

* Presenting cleaned and collated data for reporting and evaluation

* Supporting the team to track project milestones and anticipated future delivery

What we’re looking for:

* Experience in data management, reporting and quality control

* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workloads effectively

* Clear communication skills for sharing complex information with stakeholders

* Interest or background in ecology, conservation or environmental projects

* Flexibility to work independently, make sound judgements and collaborate within a team

* Proof of right to work in the UK and willingness to complete a Disclosure Scotland check
