We are looking for people to work with clients in Inverness and surrounding areas. As a Senior Ecological Consultant at RSK Biocensus you can expect to be involved with field surveys, assessment, tender and report writing and project management on nationwide and local projects.
Senior Ecological ConsultantThis is a permanent role with full‑time and part‑time patterns available. It is hybrid, offering flexible homeworking and office work.
Key Responsibilities- Displaying a commitment to high‑quality work, promoting RSK in a positive light to clients and competitors.
- Managing medium‑sized projects: finance, resource allocation, subcontractor management, risk and quality assurance, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication, and responding to client feedback.
- Completing fieldwork, including out‑of‑hours surveys, travelling as required and working away from home.
- Overseeing aspects of site work and undertaking practical elements of habitat management or creation, under supervision.
- Assisting with the delivery of survey and research reports, including document reviews, statistical analyses, licence applications and reporting.
- 1st Degree in a relevant discipline or Vocation qualification.
- 5 years of specific relevant experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Species‑specific personal licences desirable.
- Associate membership with CIEEM.
- Abide by CIEEM’s Code of Professional Conduct.
