Senior Ecological Consultant

Location:

Inverness, Scotland.

We are looking for people to work with clients in Inverness and surrounding areas. As a Senior Ecological Consultant at RSK Biocensus you can expect to be involved with field surveys, assessment, tender and report writing and project management on nationwide and local projects.

This is a permanent role with full‑time and part‑time patterns available. It is hybrid, offering flexible homeworking and office work.

• Displaying a commitment to high‑quality work, promoting RSK in a positive light to clients and competitors.
• Managing medium‑sized projects: finance, resource allocation, subcontractor management, risk and quality assurance, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication, and responding to client feedback.
• Completing fieldwork, including out‑of‑hours surveys, travelling as required and working away from home.
• Overseeing aspects of site work and undertaking practical elements of habitat management or creation, under supervision.
• Assisting with the delivery of survey and research reports, including document reviews, statistical analyses, licence applications and reporting.

• 1st Degree in a relevant discipline or Vocation qualification.
• 5 years of specific relevant experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Species‑specific personal licences desirable.
• Associate membership with CIEEM.
• Abide by CIEEM’s Code of Professional Conduct.
