This is an excellent opportunity for an Ecologist looking to gain varied consultancy experience within a friendly and supportive team. The Ecologist will be involved in field surveys, ecological assessments, reporting and construction-stage ecological support.

The Ecologist role will involve:

Undertaking protected species, habitat and ornithological surveys
Supporting ecological impact assessments and planning applications
Preparing ecological reports, management plans and monitoring documentation
Working as an Ecological Clerk of Works where required
Liaising with clients, contractors and other environmental professionals
Travelling across the Highlands and Islands, with occasional overnight stays

To be considered for the Ecologist position, you will need:

Relevant degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related subject
Previous consultancy or relevant fieldwork experience
Strong survey and report-writing skills
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Full right to work in the UK
