No experience? No problem. Macleod Roofing currently has a roofing vacancy for a Roofing Apprentice in Inverness. This role will suit an ambitious, motivated individual who wants the opportunity to learn the trade from the ground up. You’ll gain on-site, hands‑on experience during the apprenticeship, working alongside skilled tradespeople. You will be supported through structured training, setting you on the path to a professional roofing career.

• Assist experienced roofers on live projects (tiling, slating, flat roofing, etc.)
• Learn how to use tools, materials and site equipment safely
• Help with lifting, prepping materials and site setup
• Attend college or training sessions to work toward qualifications
• Follow site safety rules and maintain clean work spaces

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Enjoys practical, hands‑on work and working outdoors
• A strong work ethic, reliability and punctuality
• A good attention to detail
• Driving licence is a plus, but not essential
• Ready to commit to a long‑term career in roofing

• Paid apprenticeship with real on‑site learning at a trusted roofing company
• Support through NVQ Level 2 in Roofing or equivalent
• Pathway to full‑time employment and specialisation
• Supportive team and mentoring from seasoned roofers
