Roofer; Temporary

Position: Roofer (Temporary)
Search Consultancy have fantastic opportunities for Roofers to work with some of our valued clients in Inverness and surrounding areas. These are temporary roles, however we have ongoing work for interested candidates and can offer great benefits such as various payment types and a referral scheme.

Duties to include:

Inspect roofs to assess damage, wear, leaks, or structural issues.

Remove old roofing materials, including tiles, slates, shingles, felt, battens, and underlay.

Install new roofing systems, such as:

Slate roofs

Tile roofs

Shingle roofs

Metal roofing

Pitched roof systems

Fit insulation and ventilation components, ensuring the roof meets building regulations.

Repair damaged areas, including replacing broken tiles, fixing leaks, and patching underlay.

Install flashing around chimneys, skylights, vents, and edges to prevent water ingress.

Work at height safely, using scaffolding, harnesses, and ladders.

Use hand and power tools, such as nail guns, saws, hammers, and cutting tools.

Read and follow technical drawings, plans, and specifications.

Ensure roofs are weatherproof, watertight, and structurally sound.

Requirements:

CSCS
Flat roofing experience
Full PPELocation and hours:

Inverness
Monday - Friday 07:30-17:00

Payment:

£18 - £23 per hour
PAYE/UMBRELLA/CIS
Weekly payment
