Job Description

We're looking for an Electrician to join our Digital Solutions team based in Scotland.

Location:

Can be based anywhere in Scotland with regular travel to Inverness & Aberdeen - company van provided.

Hours:

45 hours per week. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. Join our collaborative team providing essential maintenance services for the telecommunication infrastructure. As a valued member of our team, you'll be contributing to critical communications networks while working in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

As an Electrician, you'll be working within the IMT/Ericsson team, supporting them in delivering planned and reactive repair services on the telecommunication infrastructure. Your day to day will include:

  • Performing electrical test and inspection works and diagnosing faults
  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance as part of our reactive and follow-up programmes
  • Conducting site surveys and participating in meetings with clients and partners
  • Responsible for ensuring KPI's are met from an operational level
  • Participating in our emergency standby rota to ensure continuous service
Qualifications

This role of Electrician is great for you if:

  • You hold 2365 Level 2 and 3 Diploma, plus 2391 Test and Inspection qualifications gained through an apprenticeship with practical experience
  • You have your 18th Edition electrical qualification
  • You possess a full driving licence
  • You enjoy collaborative problem-solving and have attention to detail
