Highland Appliance Services is a well-established domestic appliance repair company with over 30 years' experience. We specialise in the repair and maintenance of high-quality household appliances across the Highlands, Skye, Strathspey and Moray. We work with leading manufacturers including AEG, Beko, Neff, Zanussi, Smeg, Siemens and Bosch, and pride ourselves on delivering a fast, reliable and professional service to customers in their homes.

Due to continued growth, we are now looking to expand our field service team.

What You Will Do
  • Learning to repair and maintain household appliances including washing machines, tumble dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, and electric cookers
  • Visiting customers' homes to diagnose issues and carry out repairs safely and efficiently
  • Using your mechanical or electrical mindset to troubleshoot and solve problems on‑site
  • Recording and managing job details using our in-house engineer software
  • Following guidance from your mentor while building your skills and confidence
  • Providing excellent customer service
    , explaining repairs clearly and professionally
  • Continuously developing your technical skills through structured training and on‑the‑job experience
  • Collect your parts from our office at IV2 7WL

  • Salary: £26,500 to £27,000 per annum (depending on experience) – with a pay review once you're signed off training

  • A mechanical or electrical mindset – comfortable using hand tools and solving problems
  • Enthusiasm – motivated to power through challenges
  • Confidence – able to work alone in customers' homes and provide great service
  • Communication skills – clear, friendly, and professional with customers
  • A can‑do attitude – driven to learn and succeed
  • Full UK manual driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
  • No sales targets – focus purely on repairs
