Responsibilities- Resolve customer issues, taking control of each situation, investigating problems and developing solutions that keep customers satisfied and informed.
- Carry out routine repairs and maintenance on water‑network infrastructure, plant, equipment and vehicle checks.
- Adhere to health and safety procedures, primarily Chapter8 NSRWA, and minimize service disruption.
- Produce accurate reports using the company’s performance and productivity reporting systems.
- Work with the team, including performing your shift on the 365‑day standby rota for out‑of‑hours duties.
- Self‑motivated and eager to contribute to team goals.
- Basic IT skills – use of digital equipment and apps throughout the day.
- Clear, concise report writing skills.
- Full, clean driving licence – mandatory.
- Nice to have: experience with HGVs or 180/360 excavators, cable‑avoidance tools, an understanding of health and safety for site work or basic ground skills.
- Holding a CPCS or NSRWA qualification is a plus, but not required.
Grade
4. Starting salary £31,640, with performance‑driven progression up to £36,460.
